Centering Survivors of Gun Violence
The Stay Safe Community Listening Campaign provides safe space for survivors of gun violence, their families, and impacted community members to share their stories, experiences, and perspectives. Survivors will also build connections with one another and with service providers if they choose to do so.
The Stay Safe campaign is about listening deeply, understanding lived realities, and gathering insights that will shape policy, solutions, and programs to prevent future harm.

The Stay Safe Campaign is a collaborative effort of the Contra Costa & Solano Family Justice Center, Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office, Richmond Community Foundation’s Comment Studios, and Monument Impact. Together, we are committed to creating safer communities by lifting survivor voices and centering lived experiences in the movement to prevent gun violence.
